Her films have been awarded and officially selected at numerous international and domestic film festivals. Additionally, she has presented her research at universities and conferences worldwide, including the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Aria has collaborated with Toon Boom Animation Inc. as an Ambassador, Animation Consultant, and Beta Tester.

​

Aria holds a MFA degree in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts. She also holds a BFA degree in Animation, and a BFA degree in Illustration, both obtained concurrently at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

​

Aria presently resides in Central Illinois, as an Assistant Professor of Animation at Bradley University.
